Play fetch – Town Lake, Zilker Park, and many other local parks offer large areas perfect for spending an hour outside throwing your dog a ball or frisbee. For those dogs that like toys and to run, playing fetch is a great way to get rid of some of their energyTake them on a run – Especially as the weather begins to cool down, going on a jog with your energetic pup is a great way to keep both you and your pet in shape, not to mention a fantastic way to bond.Go swimming – Although swimming is not every dog’s favorite thing to do, some cannot get enough. Check out Red Bud Isle, Town Lake, and the Greenbelt trails, all of which have great places for your dog to swim.
